Appetite

All the heath culture all emphasized not to eat too full.
but  the true question is a lot people they don't know how much full they will feel .
Dr always told us eat 7 full, but many people even 100% full they still don't know.

The opposite condition was some people always feel hungry. 


In fact, for most of us, to really feel the hunger is really not too easy.


In Chinese the word call appetite is "wei -ko" , the first word is the "gastric" or stomach and the second word is "mouth".so right now we can see what happen in the appetite. 



The stomach of TCM
In Chinese medicine,The stomach (gastric)is one of six internal organs(the large intestine, small intestine, stomach, bladder, triple burner/san-jiaou, gall bladder)and  according to " Wu Zang".
The main function of gastric is receiving and  to turn corrupt the food maturity.also call the "chyle of the sea "《from ling shu ·hai lun》

Human bloodbody fluid and etc from metaplasia nutrients of the food, it's relying on the stomach receiving first. Food material through the stomach and small intestineunder the delivery,the means for the gastric's Qi to pass down being smooth (shun).That 's why the strength of the Stomach to maintain human health and disease prognosis has an important relationship.

The mouth of TCM

Chinese medicine says that the mouth actually is a concept of area.so the mouth is the top of the digestive tractIdeally includes all structures within the lips, teeth, gum, tongue, jaw, teeth, pharynx and etc.

In addition it is the beginning of digestion,the mouth another of the physiological functions could be participate in breathing.


You can said that for the anatomy and physiology to describe these function sounds like nothing different with the common knowledge  .The funny is some philosophical significance  between the mouth and internal organs .it relationship as port for the spleen of the awakened.
Indirect inference the muscles from spleen governs that, also the spleen is the source of qi and blood in whole body ,that is to provide adequate nutrients for the meat.

    The extreme lateral part of the ventromedial nucleus of the hypothalamus is responsible for the control of foodintake. Stimulation of this area causes increased food intake. Bilateral lesion of this area causes complete cessation of food intake. Medial parts of the nucleus have a controlling effect on the lateral part. Bilateral lesion of the medial part of the ventromedial nucleus causes hyperphagia and obesity of the animal. Further lesion of the lateral part of the ventromedial nucleus in the same animal produces complete cessation of food intake.

    There are different hypotheses related to this regulation:[12]
    1. Lipostatic hypothesis - this hypothesis holds that adipose tissue produces a humoral signal that is proportionate to the amount of fat and acts on the hypothalamus to decrease food intake and increase energy output. It has been evident that a hormone leptin acts on the hypothalamus to decrease food intake and increase energy output.
    2. Gutpeptide hypothesis - gastrointestinal hormones like Grp, glucagonsCCK and others claimed to inhibit food intake. The food entering the gastrointestinal tract triggers the release of these hormones which acts on the brain to produce satiety. The brain contains both CCK-A and CCK-B receptors.
    3. Glucostatic hypothesis - the activity of the satiety center in the ventromedial nuclei is probably governed by the glucose utilization in the neurons. It has been postulated that when their glucose utilization is low and consequently when the arteriovenous blood glucose difference across them is low, the activity across the neurons decrease. Under these conditions, the activity of the feeding center is unchecked and the individual feels hungry. Food intake is rapidly increased by intraventricular administration of 2-deoxyglucosetherefore decreasing glucose utilization in cells.
    4. Thermostatic hypothesis - according to this hypothesis, a decrease in body temperature below a given set point stimulates appetite, while an increase above the set point inhibits appetite.

      While there are infinite ways to feel satisfied, the four main drives that exist in the brain's satiety center are this: Food, water, sex, and sleep. Our brains (and bodies) need those elements to prevent our body chemistry from spinning out of control like a hydroplaning vehicle. Interestingly, when one drive isn't being satisfied, your body makes up for it by relying on others. If you're not getting enough sleep, for example, then you compensate for that lack of fulfillment with an out-of-control sausage binge. In fact, that's one of the main reasons why people overeat: They're not getting enough sleep, they're not getting enough sex, and they're not drinking enough water. To compensate, they end up putting away more cream cheese than they can burn off. Though it may seem a little tabloid-esque to say that more romps in the bedroom can help you lose weight, there's some truth to it (you're welcome, fellas.)
      Make sure you get enough water, sleep, and sex, and you'll not only enjoy the benefits from them individually, but the trickle-down effect is that you will reduce the chances that your satiety center will go schizo.

Perhaps the above is sufficient to prove that we need satiety feeling ,it's importance of life and effected us everyday.

Yoga's where this role is to balance each other


First ,lie down or sitting comfort .Hand placed on the chest keep silent or some time, at the while feeling natural breath through the nostril in /out .Then open the mouth to breathe, again ,try to feeling natural breath through the mouth in /out . allow the temperature , sensation walking on it.




Second,easy lotus sitting on the floor.balance the both sitting bone then try to do the spine flex and extend .or circular around ,move soften each part of spine,let 'it free.
Find each space between the spine and body .inhale slowly  come up and lengthen each vertebra from up to the low;  exhale down ,slowly from each vertebra from base to the top   . try repeat and to separate movement into whole breath.
If you want try another way ,maybe can doing other direction with these same way. moving to the front or back or diagonal.


In the end of the movement ,sitting back to silent ,let peace come into body ,feel it .inhale ,raise up chin little bit ,swallow (spit) then drop down chin and release shoulder.whiting feel can be release. 



Above only return to simple .Cause the breathing and meditation, the body will give the perception of balance and re-moderate-based regulation ,even only by a very simple action.

Poses inside to outside I


Damage to the digestive system often unknowingly. 
To look at what we do every day of our own body:
Work for a long time.
Standing or sit for long time.
Eat quickly.
For a long time without eat .
Short time to eat a lot.
Forget to go washroom.
Forget to eat .
Forget what you eat............  .
This scene can be below:
In the weekends or after work, you sitting on the sofa and front of the TV to holding snacks eating one pick one again and again . then one hour two hours in the past , you have not get up ,you feel body relax even fall asleep. 

Maybe peoples think that this's a good way to relax; unfortunately,sitting and lying on the sofa and long to bring you the food is definitely not equal "comfortable" ,but the arrival of pain and chronic disease.

The truth is not really relax in your body.
When the internal organs squeezed by the diaphragm activity is fullness of the stomach and abdominal compression limit ,also let the psoas muscle contraction with the lumbar spine to withstand the weight in long-term.The matter of sitting long time on sofa,the digestive and breath effects is the irresistible facts. come the result by the oppression with limited circulation are sufficient to lead to many health problems both men and women .

Posture on the digestion of the damage does not stop there.The actual situation is even worse than most people think of this.
We can see from the posture of a person's spine is healthyand healthy spine will whether or not related to the brain, spinal cord and whole organ functionthat is, poor posture and spinal health will make the brain and organ function overall operational efficiency.

Dr.Mayr say that, these kind of people often has gastrointestinal problems, such as habitual constipation,hiccups, heartburn, flatulence,Gallbladder disease, hemorrhoids and bowel movements because of poor accumulation of toxins caused by muscle inflammation and etc.
Not only that but the long-term unnatural bending the spine, can lead to more health problems.

Another bad posture is the "bass drum",used to this posture of the patient, there are a lot of gas in the intestine and stool cumulative, so that must be compensatory lumbar curvature in order to maintain body balanceIn other words,any people who 's belly full of gas and stool they will stand like this posture in order to avoid forward dumping.

The yoga postures 

  • The pose kneel on the floor with your knees hip width and thighs perpendicular to the floor. breath into your torso. and Keep your shins firmly into floor.
  • Hands ,head and arm , shoulder relax. breathing into belly and leading the hip forward,length lower back allow the upper body relaxed at the each breath out.
  • The Camel ,this pose open  the front of hip joint and leading the weight down to the earth. chest opening allow the diaphragm move wider .keep the lower spine down and length ;so the  abdomen have more space gat the energy from the breathing movement then the abdomen muscle also create more circulation in the inside organ. 
  • Sit on the floor with legs straight in front of you. as you know sitting with confort ,balance. maybe you should Turn the top thighs in slightly and press them down into the floor.
  • Breath though your top of the head and keep buttock touch the earth ,then exhale dropping belly toward the back and bending the upper torso, just let the Chest and upper arm to move down to relax the head and neck. when  the breath-out into the end ;keep the posture and naturally breathing to feel the message in the body.
  • The seated forward bend seems like squeezing the abdomen and digestive organ, actually may deeper the abdominal aorta contraction to improving the circulation. Keep breath , it as like massaged the organ which inside of the belly and helping the liver and gastric up from the supported. This to be adjust for functional imbalance of the digestive system even rid the body of toxins.
  • Near the inside of intestinal area ,to stretch the lower back can make proper space to do the easier Intestinal crawling movement smoothly. 
CAT POSE (Marjaryasana)

  •  Hands and knees in a "tabletop" position. shoulders ,wrists,knees and hips with the part,and hips socket in line with the knee. breath in to the spine and Evenly your weight down through by the floor, then doing movement with the flexion and extention.
  • Because of the lower back strengthen by gravity abdominal cavity stretch by seeks to add the space; Length the lower back in flexion,the back spread out the pressure to the limbs, breathing will deeper to strengthen this when the exhale .
  • And start to inhale,heart part show out and chest open coming into the gentle back bend . in fact the spine just keep length by the nature curve.belly could be soften. We looked to carry out the chest and the heart to increase blood oxygen and see what the fluctuations. When maintained in the position where breathing the abdominal aorta keep working to find the next contraction into the body.
  • Is like the blood circulation through the body in front,and back of the spine with nerves, as in the visceral peritoneum interwoven a beautiful sheet music, and rhythm in the diaphragm's movement into the spectrum of the soft music.
Fish pose (Matsyasana) with Virasana (supported)

  • Kneel on the floor and on a folded blanket if you need . Slide your feet apart, slightly wider than your hips.You sit down between your feet your can raise buttock on a block or cushion placed between the feet.  supported your ankle shins and feet if necessary. 
  • Lie on your back on the right hight cushion.Then rest your buttocks on the backs of your hands; or lift them off your hands as you perform this pose.Relax the neck, back naturally arched upward ,breathing smoothly. 
  • The pose nicely open front of pelvic.length the tailbone toward the heel release low back toward the knee. so that is not complete back bend, because back and sacrum on the supported still flexion as ability to the hip . Gradually deepen the posture with the breath for intra-abdominal organs have a good pressure massage effect.
Puppy Pose (Uttana Shishosana)

  • From the Cat or Childs's walk your hand forward into the  buttocks almost halfway back toward the heels. then drop forehead to the ground , neck relax.keep long breath here.
  • The pose have nice long stretch in the spine, when the hips has nice space for back to heels . Breath deep in the belly could encourage the organ  move evenly in the middle abdomen and lower abdomen ; the movement from the diaphragm but without tension in front of body .
  • You press the hands down and stretch through the arms while pulling you upper body forward ,it  change the  gravity always effect in the organ near the ribcage (liver  , Gastric , Pancreas  , Glands etc). 
  •  Breath also increase the circulation ,so improve digestion make stomach stronger to eliminate bloating .
